Prurigo control test (PCT)

What is PCT?

Prurigo nodularis (PN), or chronic prurigo (CPG), can affect your quality of life in more ways than it should. You and your dermatologist can understand more about the severity of your PN by completing the Prurigo Control Test (PCT).*1

The PCT is a validated, user-friendly tool used by patients living with PN to self-assess their disease control and quality of life. The PCT consists of five multiple-choice questions about skin lesions, frequency of itching, impact on sleep and quality of life, and treatment effect over the past 2 weeks.1

Each question is scored on a scale from 0 to 4. After answering all five questions, your total score is calculated. This will indicate your level of disease control. The possible range for the total PCT score is between 0 (no disease control) and 20 (complete disease control). A total PCT score of less than 11 points indicates poorly controlled prurigo nodularis.1

Print or take a screenshot of the result to take to your next appointment with your (skin) doctor.
